In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of sandbox-like games on the Android platform in Romania showed dynamic trends across various metrics. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the top five games fared.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at $133K and seeing a dip to $66K mid-January. However, it recovered to $117K in mid-February before ending the quarter at around $59K. Weekly downloads decreased steadily from 45K to 18K, while active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.5M and closing the quarter slightly above 1M.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! from Mojang had a stable revenue, averaging around $4K weekly, with a slight increase to $4.7K at the end of March. Downloads remained low, ranging from 90 to 148 weekly, and active users showed a gradual increase from 4.6K to nearly 5K by the end of the quarter.

IMVU: Social Chat & Avatar app by IMVU, Inc. saw modest revenue fluctuations, peaking at $971 in early February. Downloads were relatively consistent, with a notable increase to 659 in late March. Active users increased from 1.1K to 1.3K, showing a gradual upward trend.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games from Afterverse Games had a steady revenue, peaking at $464 in early March. Downloads varied, with a significant rise to 4.9K in the final week of March. Active users saw declines but recovered to 5.1K by the quarter's end.
